Prigozhin says Wagner will stop march on Moscow. Wagner Group’s founder Yevgeny Prigozhin said on June 24 that the mercenaries would stop their march on Moscow and withdraw to military camps.

Moscow mayor declares state of emergency in Russia’s capital amid Wagner advance. Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin declared a state of emergency in Russia’s capital, adding that counter-terrorist operation measures have been declared. Sobyanin said Moscow residents, with the exception of authorities, must stay home.

Media: Russian law enforcement finds fake passports, cash suitcases at Prigozhin’s office. Russian law enforcement allegedly found five kilos of gold bars and some unidentified white powder after searching in Yevgeny Prigozhin’s office, Russian independent news outlets reported.

Russian-installed proxies in occupied regions express support for Putin. The Moscow-installed heads of occupied parts of Ukraine’s Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson oblasts expressed support for Russian President Vladimir Putin amid the ongoing situation in Russia.

Zelensky: ‘The world saw that Russian leaders don’t control anything’. President Volodymyr Zelensky said in his evening address on June 24 that the Wagner rebellion had demonstrated “complete chaos” in Russia.

Kremlin spokesman: Prigozhin case will be dropped, he will move to Belarus. The insurrection case against Wagner founder Yevgeny Prigozhin will be closed, and he will move to Belarus, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on June 24.

Media: Jets belonging to Russian elite leave Moscow. At least six planes belonging to top Russian officials and businessmen have left Moscow amid the rebellion launched by Wagner mercenaries, Russia’s Vazhnye Isorii investigative journalism project reported on June 24, citing data from the Flightradar24 flight tracking site.

UK Defense Ministry: Loyalty of Russian security forces ‘key factor’ to how Prigozhin’s ‘rebellion’ plays out. The outcome of the Wagner mercenary group’s armed rebellion will partly depend on the Russian National Guard and other security forces’ loyalty to the state, the U.K. Defense Ministry wrote in its intelligence update on June 24.

General Staff: Russia launches 11 air strikes on Ukraine in past 24 hours. According to the General Staff, Russian forces used 40 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles, nine Kh-22 missiles, two Kalibr missiles, two S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles and three Iranian Shahed kamikaze drones.

Official: Ukrainian troops advance in several directions around Bakhmut. Ukrainian troops have launched an offensive in several directions around the city of Bakhmut in Donetsk Oblast and made advances, Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar said on June 24.

Putin, Erdogan discuss Wagner insurrection. Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a phone call on June 24 to discuss the ongoing Wagner Group’s armed rebellion in Russia.

WSJ: State Department to postpone sanctions against Wagner activity in Africa. The U.S. State Department is reportedly planning to delay new sanctions against the Wagner Group’s activities in Africa, the Wall Street Journal said on June 24.
