In the voice of Pooh, "what to post, what to post?"
This is basically a test post checking out Plume 0.2.0 and its #fediverse functionalities.
A couple of things I noticed so far:
- Nothing I upload in the gallery is working, it seems to be not uploading the file at all. This is probably just on the fediverse.blog instance, not on Plume itself.
- Setting the avatar should probably be enabled in the My Account section
- There should probably be a way to upload images within the "Create new post" section.
- I love how there is a "License" option in the "Create new post" section. A must in every publishing software today, Plume included it in its very early stage.
- I love how the Fediverse and Local timelines are in the frontpage of the instance.
- One account, multi-blogs. The way it should be.
- Collaborative blogs. (I haven't checked if it is possible to invite a collaborator from another Plume instance or from anyone across the Fediverse.)
I do not know if there are other hidden features on the admin side of things. Like for example, is there an option to allow users to set their post "public-frontpage", "public-but-not-in-frontpage", "private".
Regardless, everything looks simple, easy to understand, catchy, and great! Now let's see which of the fediverse channels I have will receive this test post.
I'm going to click that publish button now in … 3 … 2 … 1 …
