Los 40 Principales

Los 40 Principales is a Spanish radio and television station specializing in popular music from the English and Spanish languages. The station was founded in the 1960s in Madrid. It was originally part of the Cadena SER radio network.

In 1979, the network was acquired by the media company PRISA. In 1987, 40 Principales became independent.
